the way of being

I’m Anil Mitra, author of the way of being. My formal background is in engineering, mathematics, and physics. However, my real interests are in nature and ideas (especially philosophy, science, politics, and knowledge in general). Later in my development, I sought to translate ideas into action via questions such as (i) what is the nature of the knowable universe beyond the boundary of science (ii) what is the best that we can do in this world and beyond (iii) what kinds of action and thought are most meaningful for human beings?

This resulted in a series of writings and explorations in ideas, our world, and nature, from which I drew inspiration (some of the pictures on the site reflect nature as inspiration). My thought went through materialist, idealist, and process perspectives, before settling on the framework of seeing the world as just the world. In concepts, we will see that this is in essence a focus on being, the power of which results in an ultimate metaphysics and frames our place, lives, and being in the universe.
