Libraries on the Web

Submit a New/Revised Entry

Please use this form if you have a new or corrected URL for a library's publicly available home page.

Please use this form to submit pages for "real world" libraries. Do not use it to submit information about university home pages, branch library pages, virtual library projects, subject pathfinders, or Web OPACS.

Do not under any circumstances use this form or my e-mail address to send me unsolicited advertisements. In cases of abuse, I reserve the right to contact postmasters or service providers.

I am unable to answer reference questions via e-mail. I also will not provide lists of library addresses for bulk e-mailing.

I do not accept submissions for companies via this form. If you have the URL of a company whose business targets libraries or librarians, you may send me e-mail giving the URL and the nature of the company's products or services. I do not list bookstores, publishers, or other companies without a specific library connection.

If you are revising an entry for reasons other than changing the URL, please include a note alerting me to what the revision is.

On rare occasion, I find that a page submitted here does not come from a library or library-related company and I decline to include it in Libweb. I will not engage in lengthy discussions about pages I decline to include.

Please provide the following information about your library.

This is a:
New submission
Revised entry

Institution name (in English):
My apologies to non-English speakers, but a global list like Libweb rapidly becomes chaotic if each entry is in a different language. If I cannot determine an English-language name for your institution, I may be not be able to include it.
Library Home Page URL:
Please include trailing slashes as appropriate.
Location:
Please include city, state or province (U.S. and Canada), and country. For example: Madison, WI, USA or Geneva, Switzerland. For consortia or multi-site libraries, please include the city of the headquarters or main office.
Library type:
AKA:
If your institution is universally called something other than its official name—i.e. MIT instead of Massachusetts Institute of Technology—please include that here. If your institution's name is in a language other than English, I will use the Name field for an English rendering—e.g. University of Hamburg—and use the AKA field for the original language--e.g. Universitaet Hamburg.

Your name (required):
Your e-mail address (required):
This is confidential. I never share names or e-mail addresses submitted with this form.
