green salsa

I experimented a few times to perfect this green salsa recipe. For a mild omit the Serranos and use “Mild” Rotel tomatoes instead of “Original.”

 


Ingredients

 

Five cloves garlic, peeled

Three Serrano peppers, destemmed

Half green apple, cored

Half orange, peeled and destringed

One eighth of the juice of a juicy lime

One half teaspoon of salt

Half cup cilantro

One can tomatoes, Rotel brand, “Original”

Half cup water

One avocado

Serving suggestions

Warm or cold, this salsa is a great complement to corn or potato chips

Mix, puree the water and all the previous ingredients

Cut into small bits and mix in
