Journey in Being. The following discoveries became finalized after much 'travel.' (1) An understanding of the entire universe (of being) that is explicitly ultimate in depth and implicitly ultimate in breadth or variety. That explicit variety is impossible and, therefore, that a variety of being is ever open to discovery and exploration. (2) That understanding does not exhaust the experience of being; that transformation in Identity is necessary and possible. This, subject to morals (appropriately understood) is the ambition of the remainder. Readers may be of two types, first, those interested in the journey itself and, second, those who have an interest in the discoveries on the way. The discoveries lie in metaphysics including the depth and variety of being and of identity, knowledge, logic, cosmology, mind, the nature of human being, ethics, society and civilization (appropriately understood,) faith, and in the dynamics of transformation. Here is an outdated introduction to Journey in Being (the best introduction is the essay Journey in Being itself) Reading the essays. The more recent versions of essays ‘Journey in Being’ have suggestions on how to effectively read them. Since the essays stand as wholes, understanding may require re-reading. One suggestion would be to read an essay superficially in order to form an overview and to then return to specific parts or concepts as necessary Authorship and intellectual property.
