BEEF STROGANOFF Ingredients 1.5 lb ¼" Beef strips – from tenderloin Cooking oil 1 Onion, sliced 5 Cloves garlic, finely chopped 4 oz Mushrooms, sliced 12 oz Can beef broth ¼ cup dry sherry or red wine ½ Cup tomato sauce 16 oz Sour cream ¼ tsp Salt ½ cup Water To do Brown beef in hot oil – 2 to 4 minutes; remove beef Saute the onions, garlic, mushrooms til the onions are lightly browned Cook beef in broth / sherry till the mixture is reduced Optional Optional Add beef, broth and all remaining ingredients to the skillet.
